Renovation
If you've ever wanted to change the way your home looks and feels without having to change the location of the walls and without having to remove or change the plumbing or electrical wiring in your home then Renovation is what you're looking for. Renovation is the type of change that will get you new walls on your existing structure, new floors on your existing sub-base, new cabinets using your existing kitchen layout, and many more things that can drastically change how your home looks and feels to you. There are some key things to note about renovation, as opposed to the remodel. See below for detailed examples of what renovation is what it isn't.
All Non-Structural
Renovation of an existing space means that old finish elements will come down, but the lumber or steel members acting as structural elements will not come down. For example, old sheet rock or old plaster walls will be removed, but the 2x4 structural elements will not be. When installing new flooring, old floors will be removed, but the structural elements will not be.
Gut Reno without the Gut
If our clients choose the renovation service, updates to a bathroom or kitchen are possible. We can drastically change the appearance of your bathroom or kitchen. We can install new cabinets, new countertops, new vanities, new tubs, and new fixtures. Although, renovation work will not come with alterations of any plumbing work beyond the fixture itself. For example, if the renovation service is chosen a new sink can be installed, but in the same location since no work on the piping will be performed.
Don't Get Shocked!
The last thing to note with the Renovation service is that no electrical work on the wiring or any of the devices will be performed. If a wall is being renovated, the wiring and devices will be carefully maintained in their existing locations and will not be altered.
